Alexis P. Suter Band, Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs, 8pm-10pm
Raised in Brooklyn by a musically gifted family, Alexis P. Suter brings an unforgettable blend of passion, soul, and emotional power to every performance. With a voice described as a “molasses contralto” by Elmore Magazine, Alexis can move effortlessly from a whisper to a wave of sound that radiates from the depths of her being.
Backed by her longtime band—fellow Brooklyn natives Ray Grappone (drums), Jimmy Bennett (guitar), Daniel Weiss (keys), Peter Bennett (bass), and Vicki Bell (vocals/percussion)—Suter delivers a dynamic and heartfelt show. From rollicking roots numbers to funk-infused blues and tender ballads, the Alexis P. Suter Band creates a connection that goes beyond the music.
