The Capital Region Blues Network held the Solo/Duo division of its Blues Challenge at the Lark Street Tavern on October 5. Five acts competed, with the winner earning a trip to Memphis to represent the Capital Region in the International Blues Challenge in January. Trevor Collins proved the day’s winner, but excellent performances were also turned in by Mark and Jill, Spendthrift Lover, Chest’r, and LeFever.
