Listen Up Awards

After much anticipation, the Listen Up Awards is returning March 26th, 2023 with a new location! This year’s Capital Region music award ceremony/appreciation will take place at the historic Cohoes Music Hall in Cohoes, NY.

For those un-aware of the Listen Up Awards, it is a peoples choice music award ceremony celebrating local talent in the Capital Region created by Mirth Films and Radio Radio X. Your Vote, Your Choice. The inaugural Listen Up Awards was hosted on June 17th at Lark Hall in Albany, NY opening the doors to hundreds of fans and musicians. Out of fairness, any one who won a Listen Up Award last year will not be eligible to win one this year. There will also be multiple live performances artists throughout the ceremony.

Last year, over 130 Capital Region acts were nominated with winners in 27 categories. The goal of the Listen Up awards is to celebrate all the local talent we have throughout the region in a fun manner. The nomination process for 2023’s Listen Up Awards at the Cohoes Music Hall begin November 25th. Stay tuned for more information.
