Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening @ Palace Theatre, 12/4/2024

My concert started at 7 p.m. Even though the listing stated 8 p.m., I got a call that my dad passed away before the show while getting ready. So this review will not be technical in scope. Tuesday’s experience was like going to church hearing familiar songs from the LZ catalog.

The band was five members. Jason took over most of the show during the breaks. The good thing about this show was the fact that it was a son and his dad. He chatted about stories about his father, including playing music in front of him, which I had a similar experience with my dad. He is keeping his scope family-oriented and mentioned about his son playing music.

The music was well-performed that night, and I noticed the songs “Heartbreaker” and “Stairway” during the set. Some of the crowd was dancing along. All made for a good Wednesday evening for most in Albany.
