Every year for as long as I can remember my family has watched the Rocky Horror Picture Show when we were carving pumpkins. My whole family knows all the words we sing, dance, quote all the words ,in general, it’s a big party that I look forward to every year.

Even though I’ve been a fan for my whole life I’d never seen it live. Until recently, when I saw the Kids of Albany perform it at the palace. I was ecstatic not only because it was something I’d been waiting for for years but because of how electric the crowd was. Nothing could’ve prepared me for how welcoming and spectacular the crowd would be. All dressed up and dancing together during the time warp. It was amazing to be in a room full of people that were as excited as me, maybe more. The Kids Of Albany were fantastic onstage. They had all the charm of the original movie with a Christmas twist. The actors were all incredible and the costumes were so funny.

I had always heard about the call outs and the throwing and such. But to actually be there and get to throw toilet paper too early after being warned not to was ethereal. The show being as incredible as it was, nothing could top Barry Bostwick being there. “The” Brad Majors being at the show made it an amazing experience. In all the show was fantastic and I would totally go with all my friends to see it.
