CARTERET, N.J. (October 3, 2025) – If you were anywhere near the Carteret Performing Arts Center on October 3, 2025, you probably heard the walls shaking—because Tom Keifer and LA Guns had delivered a gritty, high-octane show blending glam metal nostalgia with raw emotional punch. The place was packed with fans of all ages, eager to jam to a mixture of classic tunes and new tracks. When the lights dimmed and the first chords rang out, the energy exploded – and fans began singing, fist-pumping, waving cell phone flashlights, and dancing in the aisles. The night was a celebration of survival, reinvention, and unapologetic rock ‘n’ roll. Keifer’s emotional depth and LA Guns’ raw energy proved a dynamic pairing that felt both nostalgic and fresh.

LA Guns hit the stage and lit things up, igniting the crowd with their signature gritty sound. Founding members Tracii Guns (guitar) and Phil Lewis (vocals) led the way, tearing through hits like “Rip and Tear,” “Never Enough,” and “The Ballad of Jayne.” Their set was a dynamic blend of nostalgia and fresh energy, featuring new material from their latest album,  “Leopard Skin” (released April 2025). The new songs were well received, proving the band’s ability to evolve while staying true to their roots. Tracii’s electrifying guitar solos and Phil’s charismatic vocals stood out, and the chemistry among the band members made their performance unforgettable. After the set, LA Guns took time to connect with fans – posing for photos, signing merchandise, and I even overheard one band member chatting about stage lighting, which was a treat for this photography enthusiast.

When Tom Keifer, the former Cinderella frontman, took the stage, the atmosphere shifted to pure rock euphoria. Backed by a killer band #kieferband – including Savannah Keifer and Tony Higbee – Keifer delivered a powerhouse performance. He tore through classics like “Nobody’s Fool,” “Shake Me,” and “Gypsy Road,” while newer tracks from “Rise” (2019) added emotional depth to the evening. Keifer’s voice, still raw and powerful after years of reinvention and vocal surgeries, carried every song with passion and resilience. The band’s chemistry was especially evident during slower, introspective moments, showcasing Keifer’s storytelling ability and connecting with the audience on a personal level.

One of the night’s highlights was “Don’t Know What You Got (Till It’s Gone),” when the entire crowd lit up their phones and sang along, creating a goosebump-inducing moment of unity. Throughout the show, Keifer’s interaction with the audience made the experience feel intimate, as if everyone was part of a giant family reunion. In the end, if you’re a fan of classic rock, this Tom Keifer and LA Guns concert was an absolute must-see. Both bands sounded fantastic and reminded everyone why their music continues to resonate. It was a night filled with old-school energy, unforgettable performance, and memories that will last long after the final encores.
