It’s the most wonderful time of the year …and for years Eileen and the band have been celebrating the glorious story of Christmas, thoughtfully, uniquely and with pure unbridled joy!! Eileen’s Irish and American roots shine throughout the evening’s beautiful mix of traditional, story-filled, age-old Wren Day songs, poems, and of course, foot stomping and hollerin’ roots music. Eileen and the ensemble’s plethora of instruments and voices weave throughout the evening, coupled with Ivers’ signature warmth, inviting listeners in for a tuneful, soulful celebration capturing the true spirit and joy of the season.

Moondance – The Ultimate Van Morrison Tribute, The Linda, Albany, 8pm-10pm

Rock and roll doesn’t get any better than Van Morrison. Van the Man has done it all – from classic rockers like Brown Eyed Girl and Domino to legendary tunes like Tupelo Honey and Into The Mystic, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer has never failed to impress music lovers around the globe.

Moondance is the ultimate Van Morrison Tribute Concert. This incredible show captures the Van Morrison concert experience like no other. Lark Hall Presents Wolfman Jack, Lark Hall, Albany, 8pm

Wolfman Jack is a live music project of musicians from the New England area performing the psychedelic and electrifying Live Dead to Europe 72′ era of The Grateful Dead. A true dance band in the style of such legendary venues as The Fillmore West, Carousel Ballroom, Avalon Ballroom, Winterland Arena and the Strand Lyceum. They recreate those vintage sets from when the Grateful Dead were first cutting their teeth as a live music act. Don’t miss it

BEMF Chamber Opera Series presents Telemann’s Don Quichotte

Cervantes’s epic story is brought to life through the irresistible music of Georg Philipp Telemann!

Join the singers, dancers, instrumentalists, and directors of the GRAMMY-winning BEMF Chamber Opera Series for a special presentation of two masterworks by Telemann. Enjoy a rare staged performance of Telemann’s lovely serenata, Don Quichotte auf der Hochzeit des Comacho, which sees Don Quixote and his squire Sancho Panza stumble upon the wedding of wealthy sheep rancher Comacho to the beautiful Quiteria—but her childhood sweetheart Basilio is ready to disrupt the festivities even if it’s the last thing he ever does! Woven throughout the entertainment will be movements from Telemann’s delightful orchestral suite Burlesque de Don Quichotte, a work that uses strikingly evocative music to depict various episodes from the classic novel by Cervantes.
