Thanks! a rock band from Saratoga Springs, NY is proud to release their brand new single “What the Hell,” available on all streaming platforms, along with an accompanying music video on YouTube.
The song was written and produced by Andrew Grella, Andrew DeWolf and Ben Martin and was recorded at The Recording Company in Amsterdam, NY. The song is an emotional piece carried by strong, flowing basslines and lyrics that take you inside the depths of your own mind.
“There is so much noise out there in the world today,” lead singer and lyricist Andrew Grella said. “This song isn’t meant to give you any answers, but to incite you to think about your state of being in all of the chaos. We hope our listeners take solace in the fact that they are not alone in feeling lost in this giant world.”
“What the Hell” is the first release from the band Thanks! since its debut album “You’re Welcome” released in July of 2022. It is the first installment of their upcoming album “No Problem” set to debut in May of 2026. The band is set to release a new single every month for the next nine months with the next release set to debut on October 23rd, 2026.
The music video was directed and produced by Jesse McAnally of Fosca Features LLC based out of Detroit. The video was shot in the suburbs of Detroit and features the band as the story-telling hobos alongside Bredon Lovejoy as the little girl, Kevin Keller as the tortured man and Madeline Ghamadabadi as the TV lady. Fosca Features just released its first full-length film, “The Daughters of the Domino,” last year to critical acclaim.
The song is available for streaming on Spotify and Apple Music and wherever else music is streamed.
