Written by Staff on November 3, 2022
If you’re from the Capital Region chances are pretty good that you’ve caught The Glenn Slingerland Situation on more than one occasion, whether it was 35 years ago on the radio, 20 years ago on select cable stations or more recently on YouTube. Glenn Slingerland and the beautiful Situation Stars are still entertaining audiences every week and there’s no stopping now!
Sunday November 6th will mark the 20th TV Anniversary for The Glenn Slingerland Situation and the landmark show will feature “a reimagined for 4K “Goodbye Mr. Bond” by Albany’s own legendary Blotto (The song first premiered on the Situation almost exactly 20 years ago to promote a new Blotto compilation album, at the time). The show has also moved the “broadcast alley” from Bodenstab Lane in Schenectady to Franklin Alley in Troy. Viewers may also notice a slightly updated logo.”
“We are noting the 20th TV Anniversary of the Glenn Slingerland Situation (and 35th overall including the Radio Situation years). It’s been a fun ride and we owe so much to everyone who has contributed to our program, especially want to thank all our loyal viewers (and listeners) through the years – and… we feel like we’re just getting started! We hope you will continue to let us visit you each week, well into the 22nd century…” -Glenn Slingerland
We look forward to more from the award winning weekly half-hour TV show which is always been known to be a fun time! Watch HERE!
