This is Jesse Sample. The day was hot and humid and when the sun went down the world finally got a bit cooler but in some ways that heat stays with us. Tonight I hung out in the kitchen under the ceiling fan and ate potato chips with my wife. Well, I was eating the potato chips. She was actually eating a potato. There is something about the tranquility found in the relief from hot weather.
