Progeny, a new progressive rock band based out of Albany, had its debut performance at Steamer 10 on Saturday. They performed songs by ELP, Genesis, Yes, Rush, and more.

Progeny is:

• Derrick Whaley – drums
• Jay Gold – bass
• Wid DeSantis – keyboards
• Steve Saccoccio – vocals, acoustic guitar
