GLOVERSVILLE, NY (Jan. 11, 2025) — The heat was high and the air thick with summer humidity, but that didn’t stop Legacy: A Tribute to Foreigner & Journey from electrifying the Gloversville Moose Lodge with an unforgettable night of classic rock nostalgia.

Led by the powerhouse vocals of Joe Schepis, whose golden tone effortlessly tackles nearly any genre, the show hit new heights when he channeled the vocal acrobatics of Journey and Foreigner’s biggest hits. His command of the stage and ability to breathe new life into iconic anthems made for a truly magical experience.

By the time the band hit the stage around 8 PM, the crowd had already gathered, with lawn chairs lined up in anticipation. As the night unfolded, more fans poured in. One attendee shared, “This is the biggest turnout we’ve ever had here.”

Legacy kicked off the first set with a stunning tribute to Journey, packing it with beloved fan favorites. After a quick 15-minute break, they returned with a second set dedicated to the timeless hits of Foreigner. Between songs, Schepis sprinkled in fascinating trivia—like how Journey’s “Lights” was originally written as “City of LA” before being changed to “City by the Bay.”

The night also marked some exciting changes within the band. Reg Kafouris returned to the keyboards with style and skill, while new guitarist Chris DeLuke brought an electrifying presence and fresh energy to the lineup.

Don’t miss your chance to catch them live —Legacy has plenty of shows lined up, including a can’t-miss performance at Amsterdam’s Riverlink Summer Concert Series on August 30. It promises to be another huge night of timeless rock.
