Ember and Elixir Club Coming to Ryan’s Wake September 24th

TROY, NY – August 18th, 2025 – The Arts Center of the Capital Region and the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall are thrilled to announce the Ember & Elixir Club, a unique speakeasy-inspired event designed to bring together community, great music, and top-shelf flavors. This isn’t your typical fundraiser; it’s a classy, down-to-earth evening celebrating Troy’s revitalization and the collaborative spirit that enlivens our community.

The Ember & Elixir Club will take place on Tuesday, September 24th from 5PM-9PM at Ryan’s Wake, Troy’s beloved hometown pub. Guests are invited to step away from their daily routines and immerse themselves in an evening featuring live music from GNP (Giroux, Niedbalski, Perrillo), a curated selection of bourbons, delicious pub fare, and fine cigars. “Ryan’s Wake is pleased to curate a lineup of bourbon and cigars that are sure to please enthusiasts and newcomers alike, showcasing our longstanding relationships with the finest purveyors in the country.” says owner Chris Ryan.

An Evening of Elevated Tastes and Community Spirit

Attendees will enjoy a distinguished whiskey and bourbon portfolio tasting featuring samples from Booker’s Bourbon, Elijah Craig Bourbon, Heaven Hill Distillery, Jefferson’s Bourbon, Widow Jane Distillery, and more.

The event is cigar-friendly, and guests are welcome to bring their own. For convenience, a curated selection of cigars will also be available for purchase from Habana Premium Cigar Shoppe, Upstate New York’s #1 tobacconist for 25 years running.

To complement the tasting experience, banquet-style hearty hors d’oeuvres from Ryan’s Wake’s menu will be provided. The full restaurant food and drink menu will also be available for

additional purchases.

A Glimpse into Troy’s Artistic Future

Adding to the evening’s unique offerings, guests will receive an exclusive sneak peek at the Troy gateway mural at 400 River Street. This powerful public art piece serves as a tribute to the city’s ongoing creative renaissance and collaborative spirit.
