T Brandon Russ, Medium

I recently had the opportunity to photograph two shows by T. Brandon Russ, a medium, one on Friday, October 24, at the Glove Theatre in Gloversville, and another on Sunday, October 26, at the Strand Theatre in Hudson Falls.

This was my first time witnessing a medium in action, and both performances drew nearly full houses. As Brandon made his way through the audience, there were tears as people felt the presence of their loved ones – but also plenty of laughter to keep things light and uplifting.

If you’d like to experience it for yourself, you can catch his upcoming shows at the Sand Lake Center for the Arts on November 2 from 5:00–7:30 p.m., and at the Great Sacandaga Brewing Company on November 20 from 6:30–9:00 p.m., following his return from a Texas tour.
