Caffe Lena – Week at a Glance – 3/16
Written by Staff on March 16, 2026
Greetings – We have a remarkable line-up of songwriters this week–each of whom is on a mission to leave her audience with new stories, hope and energy. And, guess what? After the show, they’re going to head back out on the road to their next show with new stories, hope and energy–because of you. That’s the special magic of live music in a small room. Every sigh, laugh, ahhh, and broken string becomes a shared experience–a moment of trust among strangers. I’d love to have you come to our panel discussion, “Does Music Matter?” on Sunday afternoon. It’s part of WAMC’s On the Road series, where they go out into the community and tape interesting conversations for the radio. Whether you’re a jammer, a student, an open miker or an audient, I bet you understand that music has special powers to cure what ails us. I’d love your help making the case that, yes, music really does matter.
See you at the show,
Sarah
