Week Twenty-Three: Jesse Sample’s Freak of the Week “No Going Back”

This is Jesse Sample. There is a saying that   “when one door closes, another opens” And that seems true in my experience. And sometimes, some of those closed doors open and we are granted a second chance to walk, or run, through them again and right those wrongs and regain that thing we lost.

There are also times when those doors close forever and there is no going back. We walk through that door and choose, consciously or unconsciously, a new set of options and no longer have access to the old life behind that locked door.

In this life, there is permanence and there are things that can’t be taken back. We can never truly know what waits on the other side of our decisions. The best we can do is honor our hearts and be aware that everyone we encounter in this life faces the same question. Do I walk through this door, or do I stay here forever?
