This is Jesse Sample. I heard it from someone who took acting classes, and they heard it from their acting teacher. No matter how small, when you land a role in a production, you do this. But it’s not just for actors, it’s good advice for us all. And that sage directive, is to “Celebrate your wins”

It’s important to enjoy the good times. The people in our lives, strangers and close friends alike, are busy and focused on their own lives. And sometimes they forget to give you your propers. That responsibility, therefore, lies with us. When you do good, be sure to take the time to smile and celebrate. Take yourself out to lunch or perhaps to buy a new track suit. Everyone has their own style. It’s your prerogative.

And be sure to celebrate when the universe throws you a little grace. Sometimes you didn’t even have to earn the good thing. It just fell on your lap. Take the time to properly receive that gift. Sometimes you actually get a free lunch.
