Twisted Fiddler Says “Goodbye for now but not forever.”

When we heard the news about Twisted Fiddler closing, it honestly broke our hearts. The Fiddler has become a great place for live music and they supported the local scene like we haven’t witnessed in a long time. When the weather interfered with RadioRadioX/Xperince Monthly’s Rockin’ on the River/6th Anniversary Party, the Twisted Fiddler came to the rescue and let us set up shop. And let’s talk about the food, I swear by the fact that they have the world’s greatest chopped cheese, I’m team chopped cheese all of the way! Frankie Cavone of Mirth Films is team reuben and he does a segment on his YouTube channel called Reuben Raters. We had a business lunch there and Frankie had an equipment issue, so he wasn’t able to film but Frankie told me it would’ve been his highest rated reuben ever. So that’s saying a whole lot.  Let’s get down to the Fiddler for one last chopped cheese and/or reuben, watch some football and party once more while the chance is still there!

Dear Friends of Twisted Fiddler,

At the end of this month, our lease at 9 First St. expires. After careful consideration, we decided not to renew.

As of now, we are closed weekdays. But we will be open for the rest of October on Sundays, for one Monday Jets night and one all-day Saturday customer appreciation / farewell party.

We sincerely thank each and every one of you who came out to support our local business and the local musicians who enlivened this space with entertainment 7 nights a week. Thank you also to all the Jets and Mets fans who came out to cheer your team among friends.

Please join us for Farewell (For Now) Party on Saturday, October. 26 with live music inside all day from 11 a.m. ’til close.

This is goodbye for now but not forever. Our sister business, Slidin’ Dirty Food Truck & Catering is going stronger than ever with a major, multi-month contract.

In a few months, we will be looking to secure another sister restaurant space to serve as a base for our food truck. Please stay tuned.
