Caffe Lena – Week At A Glance

Greetings – We’re just coming down off a truly remarkable weekend that did no end of good for all those in search of a spirit-lift. It started with a recital by our young School of Music students, who put on a bona fide toe-tapper of a show. Keep these kids playing music by coming to our Pancake Breakfast fundraiser on Saturday! Ladysmith Black Mambazo washed us with silky harmonies, sky high kicks, and a message of courage and hope. Adam Ezra Group exploded off the stage and into the audience where they sang surrounded by a packed house of mesmerized fans. We are so very lucky.

The good stuff just keeps coming! This Sunday’s Gospel Concert & Dinner is a unique cultural event that is wide open to all comers, regardless of faith or age. Everyone feels good when they stomp, clap and sing with the crowd. Garland has a message about the series that really resonates today. This monthly event was one of four that got cancelled in the stormy month of February but this time it’s going to happen for sure! Check out the delicious Carribbean menu, listed below!
