Caffe Lena – Week at a Glance
By Staff on May 19, 2025
Greetings – I don’t have data to prove this, but careful observation leads me to believe that nothing motivates an Upstate NY audience to turn out for a show like bad weather. It’s almost like you take it as a fun challenge when snow, ice and rain come crashing down between you and the music you love. Despite the low temps and wet streets, a big wonderful crowd showed up for Lena’s 65th Anniversary Sing In the Streets Festival on Sunday afternoon–and we are grateful to every one of you. Audience, musicians, volunteers–everyone made it the grand celebration it deserved to be. Visit our Facebook at Instagram pages to see photos
This week is a busy one! Josh Ritter’s shows are sold out. Sawyer Fredericks’ shows have just a handful of seats left. And we’re about 3/4 full for I Draw Slow. If you miss getting your seats here, another great music option is the weekend-long GottaGetGon Folk Festival at the Saratoga County Fairgrounds in Ballston Spa. It has been put on annually by an all-volunteer crew of folk music fans and players since 1970.
See you at the show,
Sarah
