Its playful dialogue and sparkling melodies epitomize Mozart’s charm and precision. It is followed by Brahms’ Sonata No. 1 in E minor for Cello and Piano, a deeply emotional piece inspired by Bach that blends contrapuntal textures with dramatic interplay, highlighting the cello’s rich, expressive voice. The program concludes with Beethoven’s iconic “Kreutzer” Sonata in A Major for Violin and Piano, a virtuosic masterpiece that redefined the violin-piano duo. Dedicated to violinist Rodolphe Kreutzer, the sonata is celebrated for its fiery intensity, technical brilliance, and emotional power.

Grammy® nominated guitarist & singer brings her spellbinding One Guitar Woman show to life, a solo acoustic tribute to female guitar pioneers.
Prepare for a captivating musical journey with One Guitar Woman, from Sue Foley’s Grammy® nominated solo acoustic tribute to female pioneers of guitar. Foley’s much-anticipated album on Stony Plain Records was released on March 29, 2024. “The kind of album that will live forever.“ — Americana Highways
One Guitar Woman is more than a tribute show. Foley doesn’t merely cover these artists’ songs; she absorbs their style and inhabits the soul of the music. Her guitar work is so deep and natural that it seems to rise from the same roots that gave birth to the originals, while her vibrant vocals bring new life to the lyrics and make the songs her own.
