“Mind Blown Festival” @ The Shirt Factory, 8/30/2025

This is my report of the Mind Blown Festival 2025, from Glens Falls, N.Y., at the Shirt Factory, which happened on August 30th. It was a great festival put together by the ADK Punk Mafia. This event was not only about local music, but a benefit promoting mental health through music, as well as suicide prevention. I have to say I’m very proud of how these guys put this all together. They had vendors, music, food, haircuts even … just blows my mind or mind blown as the festival was called.

For music, the show opened with Death Cult Pharmaceutical led by guitar player/drummer Bryan Cirillo. The band was straightforward punk; great songs, great show. The Hauntings. This band had sort of like a Misfits feel; lots of energy. I enjoyed watching them. Next was Brother T and the Boys. Not so much all punk rock, little bit feeling of a Type O Negative vibe with a punky edge, but the rubber chicken song stole the show. All the bands were great, really a few stand out to me: the Grandstand Jockeys, Uncle Frank Says No!, Seize Atlantis, Arrow Through Me, Guts, Sugar Eater, Lex Naturalis, and Don Joker was quite funny and wacky as well.

Great show by all of them. Bravo
