This holiday season, Opera Saratoga invites you to be swept away by the romance, laughter, and heartbreak of Puccini’s timeless masterpiece, “La bohème.” In this special staged concert, the Skidmore Chorus and members of the Excelsior Vocal Ensemble joins forces with the most exciting rising stars from the Juilliard School and the Metropolitan Opera to bring to life the unforgettable arias, soaring ensembles, and rich choral moments that have enchanted audiences for generations.

Pink Talking Fish is a Hybrid Tribute Fusion Act that takes the music from three of the world’s most beloved bands and creates a special treat for fans of the music.

Pink Floyd, Talking Heads and Phish are all more than just bands… they are Phenomenons. Their creations have artistically inspired people and their mind-blowing live performances have brought people together to form a sense of community around the love for their favorite bands.

Although the music from each act is different, Pink Talking Fish has discovered that fusing the material together writes an amazing new story. The epic emotion of Pink Floyd… The funky,danceable layerings of Talking Heads… The multitude of styles, unique compositional structures and pure fun of​ Phish… to merge these three acts into one gives music lovers an experience like no other.

Morgan Jay is a musician and comedian based in LA who has made numerous TV appearances. His world class training and journey as a stand-up comedian has won him multiple awards and prestigious festival appearances. Most notably, he was a 2023 Just For Laughs New Face. He’s most recognized from his massive social media following across Tiktok and Instagram and has two comedy specials streaming on Youtube.

The Friday, October 17 performance of Just A Little Music Festival: Homecoming Edition has been postponed to Saturday, December 6. Tickets dated October 17 will be honored and do not need to be exchanged. If you are unable to attend the new date, refunds may be requested at point of purchase through November 9.

Sensory Friendly – Dr Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical, Proctors Theatre, Schenectady

A sensory friendly performance is specially designed to create a more comfortable and inclusive theatrical experience for individuals on the autism spectrum or other sensitivities.

Slight modifications are made by the GRINCH team to the production itself, including:

  • Fewer loud noises and flashing lights that may be challenging for some audience members
  • More consistent levels of audio so no sounds are too jarring
  • Removing some costume pieces which may disguise or alter the appearance of a character
  • House lights kept at half throughout the show
