Albert Lee at The Strand Theatre for Matinee Performance

On Sunday Jan. 11, 2026 @ 3:00pm, spend an afternoon at the Strand Theatre as Albert Lee takes the stage for a special matinee performance, joined by opening act The Strand House Band!

Lee is touring the USA, Canada and England in 2025 and 2026 celebrating the release of his new album, “Lay It Down”. Recorded at the legendary Konk Studios in London. “Lay It Down” is a tribute to some of Albert’s favorite artists and biggest inspirations.

Lee is one of the most respected and renowned guitarists in music history, having worked with The Everly Brothers, Eric Clapton, Emmylou Harris and The Crickets over his long and illustrious career. The British-born country-rock artist started his career during the emerging rock ‘n’ roll scene of sixties London. He has maintained a solo career and is a noted composer and musical director.

Lee has received many awards as a guitarist, winning five consecutive times Guitar Player magazine’s “Best Country Guitarist”. Lee’s song “Country Boy” helped to redefine country guitar for a whole generation of players and was later to become a hit for multi-instrumentalist Ricky Skaggs.
