Area musician Joe Mele lost his son Dustin to suicide in 2013. With 50 years in the music scene under his belt, Joe was able to pull something beautiful out from his grief, bringing together some of the area’s top musical talent to focus attention on such a critical and devastating issue.
The Dustin Mele Memorial Concert has been a top fundraiser in upstate NY for AFSP’s largest annual event. In 2023, Dustin Mele Memorial broke the $120,000 mark in fundraising.
This event is sure to draw a great crowd, as always.
