Peter Wolf in conversation at UAlbany, 9/5/2025

It was a full house on Friday September 5th, 2025, as the New York State Writers Institute presented musician/author Peter Wolf in conversation with WAMC’s Joe Donahue. The event took place at the UAlbany Performing Arts Center.

Time flew while Wolf talked about some of the stories from his memoir ‘Waiting on the Moon.” He shared tales of Greenwich Village, meeting Bob Dylan, and hanging with Muddy Waters.

Woofa Goofa Mama Toofah was charming, engaging, and quite entertaining. Wolf even signed books and greeted fans after the interview. While it wasn’t quite a house party, Wolf still had the crowd in the palm of his hand. Long story short, go buy the book.
