Dear Diary,
People suck. I know people often say that but I have an actual example. I went out yesterday to run errands and I decided to grab a beverage at my local coffee shop. Wait. Let me start over. A now-distant friend and I use to work together several years ago. She eventually took another job but stayed in touch now and then. I later found out she was telling my boss things I told her in confidence. I wasn’t trash talking anyone, but she said I was. My then boss called me weeks later (I was home recovering from surgery) basically to fire me for starting rumors on social media that weren’t true. I’m not an idiot—I knew I was set up. I know who did it and I know how too. But since she is a manager in my favorite coffee shop, I now have to take a chance of seeing her if I want my coffee treat. No big deal. I handle confrontations a lot better now than I did 10 yrs ago. (#growth) Today I was not so lucky. She was there. After I acted like a big girl by not calling her obscenities at the drive-thru, I drove around to get my drink. I was preparing my pleasant, sarcastic greeting as I came around the corner and I immediately saw her leave the window inside. OMG! She’s dodging me, that guilty chicken shit. I’m flexing in my ego as I’m feel completely vindicated. After driving away, I put my straw in my cup only to find out this C’you Next Tuesday gave me only a half a cup of my order and fucked up my favorite flavor.

Couldn’t let it go, could you? See, I have a paper with a pretty gold seal that says I’ve graduated from this bullshit. Keep on trolling, you twat. Karma’s a great thing. I’ll make the popcorn.
As I watch fall shenanigans happen in my living room with my two cats I’m realizing it’s inevitable: I’m going to become a crazy cat person. There really isn’t anything else to say about that. Yes, I have two to help with my sanity. And yours. Trust. Metallic craft balls can be found on my Amazon Store in the “Cats” list if you are in a giving mood.
UUGGHH! I can’t believe I have to choose between my favorite coffee treat with a side of succubus or learn to love a plain “three and three” and try to keep my anxiety in check.
