Reeves Gabrels

Reeves Gabrels, former David Bowie guitar player, current guitar player of The Cure, has, as all musicians do, favorite songs. Noting the transcendent nature of music, he said, “With music, you seem to take it all in and it becomes immersive. Music has a power all its own.” He chose the singles not for reasons of pure music, but of pure impact.

Enjoy the list.

The auction, “Played, Worn, & Torn: Rock ‘N’ Roll Iconic Guitars and Memorabilia” raised money for a mental health awareness initiative called “Kicking the Stigma.”
