This is Jesse Sample. Every once in a great while, I wake up and decide that I am going to change my plans and stay home for the day…and just chill. Like you, I have a hundred responsibilities and things I am working on. But life is short and sometimes the best thing you can do is stay home and enjoy watching movies from bed.

And what could be more fun than picking a director and admiring the great film that they and their team created? I’ve been into Stanley Kubrick lately. Most of us have seen Clockwork Orange and Full Metal Jacket, but the early stuff is fun because you get to see a great master take his baby steps with nothing but a shoestring budget and some pretty flimsy promises.

And what fun is an “at home film fest” without the great comfort foods. Much like the young Francis Ford Coppola, I also like Italian and Chinese food. Maybe I am capable of greatness!
