Hailing from Los Angeles, California-The satirical, vibrant and in your face glam/metal band Steel Panther seduced the stage of Empire Live in Albany NY with all of their sex appeal on September, 1 2024 as a part of their On the Prowl 2024 World Tour. The glamorous thrashers rammed right through the back door and came on the stage and performed one of their most desired jams “Goin’ in the Backdoor” all adorned in their tightest leather, on-point eyeliner and most rad 80’s apparel, all while hypnotizing the crowd with their sexual charisma and lascivious innuendos.
They knew the crowd was hungry, they saw it in their eyes which is why they seductively transitioned into teasing the crowd a little further by performing “Fat Girl (That She Blows)” and upon completion they penetrated their audiences ear drums with the panty droppin’ banger “Party All Day (F**k All Night).” Amidst the performance, humorous jabs were made regarding the bass player, Spyder’s modest endowment, prompted by a health-conscious woman in the audience wearing a COVID mask. Starr and Satchel joked at the expense of Spyder and suggested that his member was that the size of a covid- nanoparticle capable of passing through the fibers of the fearless woman’s mask to receive fellatio. The crowd all engaged in laughter at the moment. Spyder grinned at their remarks and then – The fearless masked woman, almost in a Zoro like fashion proceeded to unlatch her bra, with many little “gifts” attached, lasso’d it into the air and launched it upon the stage where Steel Panther delightfully received it and placed it upon the Zadinia’s drum platform. The crowd was completely captivated by the glitz, humor, and outrageous behavior of the evening. While the audience was fully engaged from the prior antics, it proved to be a stellar opportunity for Satchel rip into a totally tubular face melting guitar solo.
Although, these dapper gentleman were on the prowl this fine tour, they really wanted the audience to Feel the Steel and performed yet another delicious melody to set the mood and entranced us with “Turn Out the Lights” before ever so smoothly performing their cover of Van Halen’s “Ain’t Talking ‘bout Love” and giving some of that love they were adamant about not talkin’ bout’ to their sound-man Nick through dedicating a moment of their show to wish him a Happy Birthday in all of their 80’s flare. The bandmates gifted him a magical tray of cupcakes to celebrate. Soundman, Nick proceeded to turn it up on Zadinia’s gnarly drum-kit while a member of the audience was invited on stage to shred it up with the band during this eventful Van Halen rendition.
It wasn’t over until they got their Balls Out and performed “Girls in a Row” with all of the rowdy ladies upon stage dancing around and some unleashing their sweater puppies for their very own glimmer of raunchy fame. The ladies definitely had their moment of being “Community Property” that evening. Steel Panther finished their epic performance through tearing through their awe inspiring ballad “Death to all But Metal” which really does shine light on the fact if in fact you are not metal than thoust shall f**keth off. The crowd’s unquenchable desire remained unmet, compelling them to beg for more. The powerful rendition of the Seven Nation Army broke through to pump up the crowd up for one final hit track, one that may provide them to mere glimpse of where their wildest dreams can lead them to. The band really wanted everyone to let loose and fulfill their insatiable craving for one final romantic ballad. Steel Panther decided to show the audience what it really took to give your cock a chance and ended the evening with a glorious performance of “Glory Hole.” They knew the crowd was hungry so they gave them all they could eat.
