What It Rains Sometimes – The Weird Side of the Internet – by Liam Sweeny.

It rained frogs. I don’t know if you remember or not; it was a while ago. Grunge was big, and It rained frogs. Of course, when it happened, it was easily explained by Pharoah not letting Moses’s people go. Or God’s people, not sure if Moses was using the royal “my” when he was talking to Pharaoh. But you know, it rained frogs.

An it has rained… things… periodically throughout history. Mostly common stuff. It rained fire when Vesuvius went off, or so I heard. Quite a show. And it does rain fish and frogs and whatever here and again, owing to distant waterspouts sucking up aquatic hangers-on and dumping them miles away. And don’t forget the “blue comet” – the frozen waste clumps the airplanes dump out that freeze on the way down. It happens. Strange sh*t coming down from the sky is a thing. But some things are so strange as to defy the ordinary explanations and have us reach for something stronger.

Broadbeach, Gold Coast, Australia. An influencer waiting for her meal at the drive through of a Golden Arches (McDonald’s.) All’s well and Big Macs are cooking and suddenly Splat! On the windshield of her car is a patty, raw. Just like that. And as freaky as that is, she gets home to find one slapped on the roof of her car.

Let’s examine this modern miracle. Now, obviously, certain things had to have been ruled out for this to have made even the weird news. First let’s assume that they checked the roof for pranksters. I just have to assume due diligence was done here. And they weren’t dropped from a plane or picked up in weather phenomena. They were fresh, not frozen. Was it a seagull that thought it had a taste for meat but changed its mind mid flight? Possibly. But I have my guess:

God’s a vegan and they screwed up his order.
