Caffe Lena – Week at a Glance

Greetings – When is the last time you saw Wal-Mart promote a sale at Target? Or Nike suggest you try Hoka’s new running shoes? You didn’t—because in most industries, guarding your turf is job #1. In the arts it’s different. You’ve probably seen “We Recommend!” messages, like the two at the bottom of this email, letting you know about special shows at other venues. We’re not just trying to sell tickets—we’re trying to nurture a discovery mindset. If you love Caffe Lena, chances are you’ll also enjoy an afternoon of jazz at SPAC, or some gorgeous chamber music along the shore of Lake George. We hope you find more of what you love out there, and bring some new friends back to Caffe Lena!

Speaking of new friends . . . we really need more Concert Volunteers for the summer season. If you’ve been considering it, please reach out now. There’s a job for everyone, young and old, shy and outgoing, once-a-monthers and almost-every-nighters.
