The American Who! Coming to the Strand Theatre7/26

On Saturday July 26, 2025 @ 8:00pm, head to the Strand Theatre for a night of The Who’s music with the band The American Who!

On August 30, 1967, a group of Glens Falls teenagers travelled to Rochester, New York, to see The Who open for Herman’s Hermits.

One of those kids, Tom Reid, is now the bass guitarist for The American Who, a group of veteran musicians from the Boston area who love the Who and love playing for Who fans.

Tom’s happy to be playing back in his hometown area along with Pat Crann on drums, Herb Boers on guitar, Sal Chinappi on keys and Neil Porter on lead vocals.

Come to the Strand and hear why the “Boston Globe” says The American Who “rock with the same power and passion that thrilled Who fans in the 1970s!”

$20 general admission.  Tickets are available at the Strand Box Office; cash or check only or online at Brown Paper Tickets.
