Legendary Chaos – Thanks for Asking! – by Liam Sweeny.
RRX: Tell us a little bit about yourself. Who are you?
LC: I go by Chaos. I am a level 36 in life (age makes me feel old lol)
RRX: Do you have any forthcoming projects? When and where?
LC: Future projects? OH YES ABSOLUTELY, I have a lot of projects I wanna do in my life like first and foremost I AM GOING TO BREAK my family generational poverty is one of my main goals. I also plan to build and raise more awareness to men’s mental health as well as bringing more attention to the lack of resources there is for men in abusive relationships (mentally and physically) I also want to at some point build more resource centers such as more homeless shelters, more food outposts for those who also really need it. I believe the world can be a better place if we stopped and looked around us from time to time.
RRX: Can you describe the first work of art that you did that you were really proud of?
LC: OMG YES!!! I’ll NEVER FORGET THIS PIECE!!! I call it “The Free-Thinking Silhouette” It was the very first piece I had made that I had shown off to the first ever actual art gallery I got to speak with but it wasn’t really their style so it never made it there BUT they did help direct me on where I can talk to more people and my friend actually surprised me one day, randomly, out of nowhere at my home, acting like he needed the restroom but he instead actually wanted to be my first buyer so I sold it to him making my very first sale as an artist.
RRX: Do you have one form of art you stick to, or are you working in multiple media?
LC: I only use old school ways such as paper and pencils, I have never liked using computers because well, I don’t have to charge my pencil lol. But I do not use any tools, you will not find even a ruler in my room, I find tools to be annoying and get in my way so I freehand everything. My medium is either paper and pencil or canvas. I use sharpies for my coloring but I am also always trying new ways to improve what I do with my work as an artist.
RRX: What is a work of art that really speaks to you, something you think could describe the inner you?
LC: Oh that’s a tough one, there is so many pieces out there it is hard to break it down to just one piece, but if I have to it would be Salvador Dali, La Persistance de la Memorie. (Lost in Time.)
