Florence Welch

Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine recently revealed that she once started a witches’ coven in her youth.

“One time, I tried to make one of my classmates fall in love with me so me and my coven put his name in a bottle,” she said, “and the rule was that there had to be a drop of blood and… well, I don’t know if it ever worked [laughs].”

Welch’s interest in witchcraft and the supernatural goes back to her childhood, filled with Greek mythology and folklore. “I remember reading a lot of book on Greek mythology like the minotaur being sacrificed to [Goddess of the underworld] Persephone and just being obsessed with The Odyssey and The Iliad,”

Goo Goo Dolls

Goo Goo Dolls will be putting on a Summer 2026 tour, with help from Neon Trees. The tour will be in amphitheaters and arenas, and will start out in Lincoln, California. It will travel to Minneapolis, Boise, Pittsburgh, Milwaukee, Tampa and elsewhere. The public sale of tickets starts today.

Robert Plant will be going on tour this spring, the “Spring Fever” US tour to be exact, and he’s accompanied by Saving Grace and Suzi Dian. The tour will have stops in Austin, New Orleans, Nashville, Philadelphia, and New York City, among many others both in the US and the UK.
