Rolling Stones
A Rolling Stones UK and European tour has been called off due to Keith Richards’unwillingness to commit to the rigorous scheduling that a tour requires. 82 year-old Richards has struggled with arthritis. This past year, the Stones have played a stadium tour in the U.S., so Richards is not willing to commit to another tour.
The Rolling Stones are working on a new album with producer Andrew Watt.
Trent Reznor
Nine Inch Nails front man Trent Reznor had a dim view of doing music again, but was reinvigorated after going on the “Peel It Back” tour. Now Reznor is looking to make more music.
Reznor explained his earlier mood about usic culture in an interview on Indie Wire, “The culture of the music world sucks. … What technology has done to disrupt the music business in terms of not only how people listen to music but the value they place on it is defeating. I’m not saying that as an old man yelling at clouds, but as a music lover who grew up where music was the main thing. Music [now] feels largely relegated to something that happens in the background.”
