Jesse Sample’s Freak of the Week airs EVERY Wednesday at 6pm Eastern ONLY on RadioRadioX.com
This is Jesse Sample. Today is St Patrick’s Day. This holiday has become something that I have grown to love more and more for my own set of reasons. The band that I run with has a 3-hour traditional Irish set that we perform this time of year. It’s a real blast and I’ve come to love the songs and the playing of them with people so close to me. I wanted to do a song for St. Patrick’s Day.
On a separate note, I’ve been thinking a lot about psychopaths lately. They move through society so easily. It’s as though us normies are somehow enamored with them. It seems like they ascend to the highest points of our institutions and society with such ease. It’s like most of us are under a spell, and these psychos just have the run of the place.
I reckon that they are as ancient as anything else. Any account of Roman History is surely dotted with absolute psychopaths. But Caligula didn’t have the internet, a global media apparatus or suicide drones. Lately, it just feels like we’ve given them the keys to the shop and gone inside to watch Judge Judy while they destroy everything.
I hope I’m wrong or perhaps not seeing the big picture
