Caffe Lena Week At A Glance 5/4-5/10

Greetings – We have two debuts at the Caffe this week. One is Cristina Vane (above) who has never played this area before. Born in Italy and raised around the world, she has found her musical home in America, recording with the likes of Molly Tuttle, Bronwyn Keith Hines, Willi Carlisle and other Caffe favorites. The other Lena first-timer is veteran frontman for The Jayhawks, Gary Louris. If a major artist like Louris wants to play an intimate set for an audience that hangs on every word, there’s no better venue than Caffe Lena. If a fast-rising newcomer like Vane wants to grow their audience upstate, Caffe Lena is a sought after stage. We work hard to create a seamless experience for every artist we book, but you–that person who leans in, sighs at the right moment, laughs out loud, and really means it when you tell the artist “great show!”–you are the reason these amazing people come to Saratoga to play for us.
