Video of the LABOR DAY: Street Meat and Les Chiens de Ruelles perform “Sixteen Tons”

So while in Quebec for Amnesia Rockfest (2014), I (Rob Smittix) had a five-hour layover in Montreal on my return trip, so I decided to hit Sainte Catherine Street for a little while and grab a drink or three. It’s been several years since I’ve been there so it was a nice little treat to see the progression of the strip. There were many buskers on the street that day and as I walked by I soaked in their music like a sponge but there was one group I passed that made me turn around half a city block to come back to listen and film. This band is actually a combination of members from two groups Street Meat and Les Chiens de Ruelles. Check these guys out they were amazing. Even after attending Canada’s largest rock and roll festival, I’d have to say this was one of my favorite performances of the weekend! The song performed in the video is “Sixteen Tons”.
