Peggy’s SURPRISE Birthday Party At Honky Tonk Bingo -By: Peggy of Troy -Photos By: Tim Reidy

No Fun was the scene of a great party Monday Night when my host DJ Molly parton (Molly Eadie) had an early surprise birthday party for me!

There were party hats with my photos on them and balloons filled the club, as well as Happy Birthday letters on the wall behind the stage! Emily Lamb, a local artist made and decorated these delicious cakes with so much talent and love that you could never find in a bakery! Two cakes were on a table, one with St.Peggy written on it.

Local musician Matt Malone brought his guitar and we got up on stage between game sets and jammed out my version of Johnny Cash’s Folsom Prison Blues called Covid Prison Blues.
My great friends Niki Kaos and Suzanne Buggy were there with me. Niki belted out an animated Happy Birthday to me and I joined Suzanne on her great version of Sweet Transvestite for karaoke.
Molly and I had a great time up on the happily decorated stage. I was kicking out Irish accented St Paddy’s humor, anecdotes, impromptu quips during the calling of the bingo numbers, with our background honky-tonk music . We played several games and the winners were treated to unusual prizes as well as some smartly done handcrafted ones by Molly and our local Artists , Amanda and Emily. The contestants sung with enthusiasm up on the brightly lit stage for the grand prize gift certificate. It is truly a gathering of fun at No Fun !
I’ll never forget this night, the love, the energy I felt, so much support from a loyal fan base.
