Empire live was PSYCHED for The Psychedelic Furs March 21, 2022

Royston Langdon, formerly of Spacehog, opened for “The FURS” Monday night at Empire LIVE, making a huge impression with his new song, “Nazi Girlfriend”: “So I can make a full report” from his 2021 release “Chains.” He added to the mix the Spacehog hit “In The Meantime,” and ended with a fantastically performed cover of David Bowie’s “Ashes to Ashes.”
Warm up the crowd he did! The crowd was psyched for the Psychedelic Furs!

Spawned from the British post-punk scene, The Psychedelic Furs came battling out song after song without missing a beat. They gave the crowd “The Ghost In You,” “Pretty In Pink,” “Love My Way,” “President Gas,” “Heaven,” “Heartbreak Beat.” Richard Butler (lead vocals) sang as if it was 1977, with full vocals not holding back. Adding a few new songs “Wrong Train,” “The Boy That Invented Rock And Roll” and “Don’t Believe” from “Made Of Rain,” which although was their first release in 30 years, fit right in with the style of their youth.

The fans were happy and already conversations were heard, asking when the next show would be?
If you get a chance to see them on this tour, do so! You will not be sorry
