Alive at Five, have brought amazing top tear bands for several decades to Albany, NY. Nestled In the wonderful river-side performance space along the Hudson River -rushing by the event brought in Spafford, from Prescott, Arizona..

Spafford finds the inner groove of the music and propels it at different tempos toward the audience. The “jam” category suits them well. On stage they are a force of nature filling all the gaps that other bands left behind. They’ve played Red Rock and countless other important venues. They’ve been at it since 2009. Key members are founders Brian Moss and Jordan Fairless.

Annie In The Water provided a superb opening set for a regional band. From Saratoga, NY, they have come a long way to be at Alive At Five and many other venues. If you had come in thinking you were late for Alive At Five you might have thought of them as the headliners with their blend of roots, jam and southern rock. They are that good!

However, the crowd of maybe several thousand came for the headliners and dancing in place was the norm for the evening.
