Jesse Sample’s Freak of the Week Airs Every Wednesday at 6pm Eastern ONLY on RadioRadioX.com
This is Jesse Sample. We, as a society, agree on some things. The sun has risen today, yesterday, and probably tomorrow. The sea is wet, and the desert can get hot. Mentos are the fresh makers and Rice-A-Roni is the San Francisco treat.
But we all have subjective experiences. There are the things that happen inside of us that we can’t even put words to. We have ocean within our heads. We are the authors and, also, the experiencers of our own unique journey. You may see me in the ice cream isle of Hannaford and, at least physically, I am present. But in some ways, I am lightyears away on another plane or maybe in my grandmothers living room 35 years in the past.
I employed my old friend, the Kettle, and recorded her voice and then I sampled it to paint an A major chord. I wrote an English sonnet. And I went where the project took me, the way the grand project takes us all.
