Week Seventeen: Jesse Sample’s Freak of the Week “Creation Story for Psychos Everywhere”
By Staff on April 30, 2025
Jesse Sample’s Freak of the Week airs EVERY WEDNESDAY at 6pm Eastern ONLY on RadioRadioX.com
This is Jesse Sample. When we are young, our brains work at turbo speed. We hear the lady humming in the checkout line at Hannaford or see the dog barking. Our little brains take these things and billions of others and configure the story of our lives. The Nature vs. Nurture question is not much of a question at all. It’s both and what we witness in those tender years is critical in how we will see the world .
What happens when a young person encounters an adult who has some demons? I don’t know about you, but I didn’t have the where with all to say, “That guy has some real emotional problems. I wonder why he never grew up?” Kids are still putting it together and the ground is forming under their feet. They might see an angry adult and assume that the adult is merely reacting to them, and that they’re bad. And sometimes they just go on believing it forever and build their lives around it.
This week’s song is part 1 of a three song Series that was part of my Capstone project for my Songwriting degree from Berklee. Thanks to all of you tuned into
