Week Forty-Two: Jesse Sample’s Freak of the Week “On Heaven’s Streets”

This is Jesse Sample. I admire those kinds of old men who seem to have an endless supply of jokes. They can go on and on. I’m most impressed about how well they retain them. Do they store them in a virtual file cabinet in their brains? I just like to think about where they found those jokes and I’m fascinated with kind of person who says, “I’m gonna remember this one and break it out when I want to bring some joy to a situation.”

I have about three jokes in my skinny joke catalogue. I think that I might allot some of the space in my head’s hard drive. Laughter is medicine and a little levity can make tough times a little less tough. This week’s song is about some good natured and divine justice.
