A hilarious night of comedy.

TROY, N.Y. – April 30, 2026 – First off, if you haven’t been to the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall, I highly recommend you stop in for a show. It was founded in 1875 and is known for its amazing acoustics and great views from any seat.

The historic venue was packed, with fans eager for Craig Ferguson’s signature mix of quick wit, cheeky observations, and the kind of self-deprecating humor that’s become his calling card since his “Late Late Show” days.

From the moment Ferguson strode out—bagpipes blaring, and a mischievous grin on his face—the room felt lighter. Photos weren’t allowed, which turned out to be a blessing. No screens, no distractions, just pure focus on the man and his stories. It was like being let in on a delicious secret for a couple of hours.

He sported a new mustache, which he joked, “I assure you it’s me. I’m just trying a new look.”

The jokes were on point. Everything from naughty bits that made me blush a few times to making fun of an audience member for a sudden outburst.  A guy in the front row yelled “bwaha,” and stomped his foot. So Craig kept circling back to it throughout the night, calling it a Troy thing.  Which always garnered lots of applause and laughter in response.

He shared clever stories about his late-night TV days and friendly digs at fellow comedians like Jay Leno. He’s a master at slipping between silly and smart in the space of a sentence. It all flowed together to create a night filled with lots of laughter and smiling.

For my first comedy show, I was very impressed.  If you get the chance, you should definitely go to this venue and see a comedy show.
