John Bush and Armored Saint March
Through the U.S.

It’s become a tradition for me to speak with John Bush annually in November for
RadioRadioX. He’s my all-time favorite metal singer and each time is a huge thrill.
In Spring 2026, Bush’s band, Armored Saint released their newest LP, Emotion Factory
Reset, which continues the band’s tradition of a heavy metal template that fuses
elements of rock, prog, blues, and thrash, with one slower ballad-type tune for good
measure.
Armored Saint has been promoting and touring extensively alongside their longtime
brothers in arms, Metal Church, and the Metal Saint Tour continues in November on the
west coast of North America. Following a month of shows in the UK/EU in February
2027, supporting Saxon, Armored Saint will return to North America for the next leg of
the Metal Saint Tour, which will be in March 2027 (the only NY show will be at St. Vitus
in Brooklyn on 3/27).
I had the chance to speak with Bush to talk about how he’s keeping his voice strong
while on the road, how the audiences are reacting to the new tracks and we revisit
some deep cuts and why they continually resonate with fans. Plus, we also get a brief
glimpse into his rockabilly project, Electric Spaghetti, with guitarist Tara Novick (best
known from Royal Crown Revue).
Horns Up!
