Upstate Unplugged Concert Series Announces Media Partnership with Xperience Monthly

An intimate listening-room concert series in New York’s Capital Region is expanding its reach.

Upstate Unplugged, the monthly live concert and recording experience held at White Lake Studios in Colonie, has announced a new media partnership with Xperience Monthly, a publication dedicated to regional music and arts coverage.

Unlike traditional concerts, Upstate Unplugged places a small audience inside the recording studio as nationally touring artists perform stripped-down sets while being professionally recorded — giving fans a rare behind-the-scenes look at how music is actually made.

The 2025 season featured artists including Haley Jane (VT), Will Dailey (Boston), Bernie Barlow (Los Angeles), King Kyote (Maine), and Little Days (Hollywood).
Upcoming 2026 performers include The Wolff Sisters (Boston), Tommy Stinson (The Replacements / Guns N’ Roses), and five-time Billboard Top-40 artists Jocelyn & Chris.

Through the partnership, Xperience Monthly will publish artist interviews, preview features, and post-show coverage, while also hosting special announcements and exclusive meet-and-greet opportunities.

“Upstate Unplugged was created to bring listeners closer to the music than a traditional venue ever could,” said series organizers Anna and David Bourgeois. “Partnering with Xperience Monthly allows us to share that experience with a much larger audience while still preserving the intimacy that makes the series special.”
