River Fest, A Feast of Music: Sunday June 11th in Downtown Troy -By: FF Goings

Written by on June 7, 2023

Over 20 years ago in a Collar City far, far away from where it is today a group of
local merchants banded together to host the first River Street Fest. The Late Dana
Rudolf spearheaded the effort with help from Jim Barrett, Robin McDonough and
many others. Over the years, the festival has ebbed and flowed through many
incarnations. For awhile the City of Troy was in charge and as of late, The Troy
BID.

This festival which was founded as a way to promote a struggling business
community has become a June staple for the Troy community. For many of us it
is the official beginning of Summer. We at RadioradioX.com The Xperience
Monthly are proud to once again be providing musical entertainment for festival
patrons, brought to you by Callanan Industries.
We will have two stages with great acts playing throughout the day.

The Monument Square stage will feature:

Niki Kaos

Christine Bilé

Steve Moss

Matty D –

The State Street stage will host performances by:

The Peak Music Guitar Stars – Noon

Son Of A Gun- 1pm

Ryan Matter Band- 2pm

Rich Ertelt’s Blues Express – 3pm

The Chris Busone Band- 3pm

We look forward to seeing all of you this Sunday June 11th , and thank all of our
sponsors – Callanan Industries, River Street Beat Shop, Sawtooth Jewelry, Collar
City Guitars, Peak Music, T&J Soaps, Artcentric Marketplace, JJ’s Cycle, Season’s

that Slidin’ Dirty is the OFFICIAL bar of RadioradioX for the festival. Stop by.
