Week Forty-One: Jesse Sample’s Freak of the Week “Into October”

This is Jesse Sample. What can I say? October is simply the best part of the year. Here in the Hudson Valley, the views are breath taking and the culture is on display. The hills are various shades of green, orange, yellow and red and the skies are a special kind of blue. The nights have that light chill yet the waters of the lake are still good for swimming.

There’s beer drinking and apple picking. There are train rides down to NYC and car trips through the Adirondacks and into the hills of Vermont. It’s as though mother nature has cast a spell, and the world appears in various shades of gold.

This week’s composition is done exclusively on my Guild Acoustic. I tried to create something to symbolize the floating trance that I’ve been in since the leaves started to turn and I started looking for any excuse to go for a walk, not that I need one.
